Noah Cameron Posts Another Solid Outing
Noah Cameron tossed 6 1/3 innings of one-run ball in Wednesday's 3-2 win against the Cincinnati Reds. The rookie yielded six hits while striking out and walking two to notch his fourth straight quality start -- improving to 2-1. He was again solid, as he's allowed one earned run or fewer and gone more than six innings in each of his first four starts. Cameron may not miss many bats, but the 6.52 K/9 he bolstered heading into this start is much lower than the 10.42 he held last season. He may be slightly out-pitching his 1.05 ERA and 0.82 WHIP, but an xERA of 2.89 says regression may not hit him too hard. He'll look to keep the impressive start to his career going his next time out -- next week on the road against the St. Louis Cardinals. However, it's worth mentioning that's not a guarantee with teammate Seth Lugo (finger) set to return from the IL.
