No Structural Damage For Ryon Healy
6 years agoAn MRI exam and bone scan on Seattle Mariners third baseman Ryon Healy (back) revealed no structural damage. The team is hoping that he can resume baseball activities in the next week. Healy has been out since May 21 and has been slow to recover from lower back inflammation. He was hitting just .237 before his injury but did have seven home runs and 26 RBI in his 169 at-bats. The 27-year-old won't be a regular in the lineup when he returns to action, but he'll mix and match at third base, first base and designated hitter with Kyle Seager, Daniel Vogelbach and Edwin Encarnacion.
