Nick Mullens Shouldn't Be Trusted Against Cowboys

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Nick Mullens has been airing the ball out a ton lately. He had 45 passing attempts in Week 14 against the Washington Football Team and 39 passing attempts in Week 13 against the Buffalo Bills. This week, we may see a different game plan for the 49ers. In Week 15, they'll be facing a Dallas Cowboys team that ranks dead last in the NFL in run defense, allowing 162.7 rushing yards per game. Even if head coach Kyle Shanahan chooses to have Mullens keep throwing, it's still no guarantee for success. His 45 passing attempts in Week 14 amounted to just 260 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception. Mullens could be considered as a low-end QB2 in deep leagues, but he's best to avoid if possible.
