7 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Nelson Cruz (quadriceps) said he has a Grade 1 quadriceps strain. He will rest for a few days but said the injury isn't a big deal. The Mariners will surely be cautious with their big slugger, but it sounds like Cruz could be ready for Opening Day if he doesn't suffer any setbacks at the end of camp. When healthy, the aging star could yet again approach 30 homers and 100 RBI in a revamped Seattle lineup.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
