Morgan Moses Plans To Be Ready Despite Having Surgery
9 months agoNew York Jets right tackle Morgan Moses (pectoral) said he had surgery six weeks ago to fix a torn pectoral muscle that he tore in Week 4 and played through last year. Despite having surgery in the offseason for a significant injury, Moses said, "Yes, sir, 100 percent," when asked if he'll be ready to go in training camp this summer. The 33-year-old former third-round selection in the 2014 NFL draft by the Washington Commanders out of Virginia spent the first seven seasons of his career in D.C. and will be returning to the Jets after playing for them in 2021. He has started 144 of the 152 games he's appeared in over his 10-year NFL career and should open the 2024 campaign as the Jets' starting right tackle as he looks to protect quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
