Mookie Betts Remains Out Thursday Against Cubs
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder/second baseman Mookie Betts, who is on the paternity list this week, remains out of the team's starting lineup on Thursday against the Chicago Cubs. Fantasy managers should expect him to return to the team's lineup on Friday, possibly at shortstop with Miguel Rojas (hamstring) now on the injured list. Betts is hitting .266 (17-for-64) with six doubles, two home runs, six RBI and 13 runs scored in his first 17 games and is a must-start when he returns to the field. Luke Williams will handle the 6 on Thursday and hit eighth in the order against Cubs right-hander Jameson Taillon, while James Outman starts in right field and hits leadoff. Outman has been hot at the plate and should continue to be a popular DFS play.
