8 months agoToronto Maple Leafs centers Mitchell Marner and John Tavares led the way in Saturday's 5-2 victory against the Buffalo Sabres. Both pivots posted a goal with two assists and a plus-3 rating. Center Nic Petan added his first goal since coming over from the Winnipeg Jets at the NHL trade deadline. The real fantasy story is Tavares, though, as he has four goals and eight points over the past six games. Marner is good for two goals and nine points with a plus-5 rating across the past five. They'll look to keep up the good work on Monday night in Calgary.--Daniel E. Dobish - RotoBaller
