Toronto Maple Leafs right winger Mitch Marner (ankle) returned to practice on Friday for the first time since suffering a high-ankle sprain during a 4-1 loss to the Boston Bruins on March 7. Marner finished that game but has since missed the team's past nine contests. He is still expected to miss at least two more games despite his return to the ice Friday. "Mitch looked good today," head coach Sheldon Keefe said on Friday. "In terms of the next step for him I would say it's just further participation in practice, which we won't have another practice again until Tuesday." The veteran has tallied 25 goals and 76 points across 62 games this season while putting forth a healthy plus-20 rating.--Brenton KempRead More News
