Miles Sanders Returns To Thursday's Practice
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (knee) is back at practice on Thursday after he was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice. The Eagles were likely giving Sanders a day to rest on Wednesday. It's unclear if he was limited or full on Thursday, but the fact that he was back on the field is a good sign that he'll be fine for his normal role as Philly's backfield leader in Week 17 against the New Orleans Saints. With quarterback Jalen Hurts (shoulder) sidelined, the Eagles made it a point to keep Sanders heavily involved in last week's loss to the Dallas Cowboys, as he had 21 carries for 65 yards on the ground. Expect more of the same this weekend if Hurts misses a second straight game. Sanders should be considered a strong RB2 choice for fantasy managers.
