Colorado Avalanche right wing Mikko Rantanen scored two goals to reach the 40-goal mark for the first time in his NHL career in Monday's 3-0 victory against the Golden Knights. Rantanen scored 14 seconds into the game as Golden Knights goaltender Adin Hill misplayed the puck on a clearing attempt from behind his own net. Rantanen's second goal of the contest made him the fastest player in Avalanche history to reach 40 goals in a season, as he achieved the feat through 58 games. Rantanen has totaled 40 goals and 71 points on the season, while he is on pace to surpass 50 goals for the first time in his career to remain one of the best forwards across all fantasy formats.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
