2 years agoTampa Bay Lightning defenseman Mikhail Sergachev (undisclosed) won't play in Saturday's preseason game against Florida but should be available for next week's season opener. The Russian blue-liner left Thursday's preseason action against the Panthers with an undisclosed injury and it put his status for the first regular-season game of the year in doubt, but Lightning head coach Jon Cooper has delivered good news by noting that Sergachev should be fine for Tuesday's clash with the Rangers. The 24-year-old is set for a significantly bigger role in 2022-23 and should be scooped up in most fantasy leagues.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
