7/28:The Kansas City Royals traded third baseman Mike Moustakas to the Milwaukee Brewers late Friday. The Royals received minor leaguers, outfielder Brett Phillips and pitcher Jorge Lopez. Moustakas is a difference-making bat, with 20 HR and 62 RBI so far this season. The move makes it likely that regular third baseman Travis Shaw will move to second base, where he has been putting in practice time at for the past month. The move improves the fantasy value for Moustakas due to being part of a better lineup in Milwaukee. Shaw's value also increases as soon as he gains eligibility at second base. Phillips and Lopez have both spent limited time in the majors without making much of an impact so their value is more likely to be discovered in the future.--Jamie Mellor - RotoBaller
