5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Minor scattered just five hits and two walks while striking out seven batters over seven scoreless innings in a victory against the visiting Houston Astros, tossing 58 of his 95 pitches for strikes, including first-pitch strikes to 17 of his 27 batters. He had the benefit of a stiff wind blowing from right-center field into the face of the batters, something to always consider when kicking the tires on potential DFS options. He'll look to keep up the good work on Tuesday night in Arizona for a difficult road matchup under the retractable roof in neutral-wind conditions.--Daniel Dobish
