Mike Gesicki Doesn't Practice Wednesday
4 years agoMiami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki (shoulder) and safety Bobby McCain (ankle) didn't practice on Wednesday. Gesicki has scored four touchdowns in his last three games and has 14 catches on 17 targets for 153 yards and three touchdowns in the last two contests. He'll be a high-end TE2 if he can somehow get in a limited practice on Thursday or Friday, but there's plenty of risk. On top of the injury, the Patriots Defense -- Miami's Week 15 opponent -- has allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game to tight ends this season. So there's no guarantee that Gesicki will keep his hot streak going if he manages to play. If he can't go, Durham Smythe and Adam Shaheen would split the tight end duties.
