5 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies selected Jesuit High School pitcher Mick Abel with the 15th overall pick in the 2020 MLB draft on Wednesday. Abel, who stands at 6-foot-5, has three plus pitches in a fastball, slider and curveball. He also features a future plus changeup that has sink and dip to it. Abel has a solid makeup and good stuff and should throw harder once he develops more strength as he matures. The 18-year-old was an Oregon State recruit and helped his high school to a state title in 2019 in Oregon.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
