Washington Capitals defenseman Michal Kempny scored with less than four minutes remaining in regulation against Detroit on Sunday, helping the team end a three-game skid with a 3-2 win. Tom Wilson and Travis Boyd also found the net, while Evgeny Kuznetsov finished with two points. Kempny now has five goals and 15 points for the season with 13 of them coming since Nov. 19. The Czech blueliner was only a depth piece for the Caps at first, but he's been on the top pairing alongside John Carlson for a while now. He started the season with only 18 points in 103 career games, so it's been an impressive rise to fantasy relevance by him.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
