Michael Carter Doesn't Do Much In Week 8 Loss

New York Jets running back Michael Carter didn't do much in his first game of the season as the lead back, running the ball seven times for 26 yards and adding four catches for 35 more yards. With Breece Hall (knee) done for the season, Carter was expected to fill in as the lead back, and while he certainly did do that, the Jets seemed to have gone to a pass-heavy offense in what was a negative game script, leaving Carter to a frustrating workload in the loss to the Pats. Carter should have better days ahead, but his fantasy ceiling could be limited if the newly acquired James Robinson's role grows in the coming weeks.
