6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon will likely be carrying a big load on Sunday against the 49ers, especially if star wide receiver Keenan Allen is out. Gordon has continued to rack up the scores this season as he's already got four touchdowns in the team's first three games. He's well on his way to surpassing last year's total of 12 touchdowns, and he's carrying the ball at a better clip than ever before, averaging 4.4 YPC. Gordon will be facing a San Francisco defense that has been stingy against the run, but Gordon will likely be able to find a way through with his combination of running and receiving skills.
