Melvin Gordon III Good To Go Against Browns
3 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III (hip) practiced in full the last two days and was removed from the final injury report for Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night. Gordon hasn't broken off as many big plays or been as flashy as rookie Javonte Williams, but he has scored twice this year and is averaging 4.7 yards per carry on his 70 rushing attempts. Williams certainly has more big-play and fantasy upside over the course of the remainder of the season, but Gordon continues to split this backfield in half with the rookie. As long as the 28-year-old continues to have half of the share of Denver's backfield touches, he'll be on the RB2/3 borderline. Cleveland's defense has been much more stout up front against the run than on the back end, so Gordon might find running lanes tough to come by on Thursday.
