Melvin Gordon III Won't Practice Wednesday
3 years agoDenver Broncos head coach Vic Fangio said that running back Melvin Gordon III (hip, shoulder) will not practice on Wednesday. Gordon injured his hip on his first carry of the day in last week's win over the Los Angeles Chargers, but he eventually returned and finished the game. The 28-year-old's injuries don't seem too serious, so the Broncos are likely just resting him early in the week. If he returns to practice on Thursday or Friday, he'll be on track to play in Week 13 on Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs. There's nothing to suggest that the Broncos will change up their rushing attack with Gordon as the 1A to rookie Javonte Williams' 1B, capping both of their fantasy value as RB2s.
