Melvin Gordon III Could Bounce Back Against Raiders
4 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon had his worst game of the season last week against Atlanta, carrying the ball a season-low six times for 18 yards while catching his only target for nine yards. Gordon's ceiling is definitely lowered with Phillip Lindsay healthy, but the good news is that Gordon continues to play more snaps and see more work in the passing game. However, he'll continue to be more of a low-end RB2/high-end RB3 with both he and Lindsay essentially splitting the carries 50/50. The division-rival Raiders can be beat on the ground and through the air by running backs. They've allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to RBs and 53 receptions to them, which is tied for sixth-most in the NFL.
