Melvin Gordon Finishes 2019 On A High Note
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon may not have led his team to a victory in the final game of the season, but he bumped his own value a bit more as he heads into free agency. Following his holdout to start the season, Gordon took a little bit to get his legs under him. He finished strong though, reminding everyone of his value as he racked up 122 scrimmage yards in Week 17 as well as a touchdown. Gordon finishes the shortened season with nine touchdowns, 612 rushing yards, and 296 receiving yards. Gordon will now hit the open market, and it remains to be seen whether he'll be suiting up in the powder blue next year. With LA opening a new stadium and facing a possible hole at quarterback as well, the question is whether anyone will get paid, and if so, who?
