The Calgary Flames defeated the Dallas Stars by the score of 5-1 on Sunday. Matthew Tkachuk scored a goal and added two helpers in the winning effort. The winger now has five points in the last two games after previously going three games without a point. He has 32 points in 37 games as he looks to build off a strong 2018-19 season. Center Elias Lindholm added three assists on Sunday and also has five points in the last two games. With 15 goals in 38 games, he’s on pace to set a career-high in goals although his 13 assists put him well off the pace to match his career-best mark of 51 from last season. Another center, Shane Monahan, had a strong game with a goal and an assist. He’s on pace to break the 60-point mark for the fifth time in his seven-year career although it appears that he’ll fall short of a third straight 30-goal season. Goaltender David Rittich was excellent in net and turned away 26 of the 27 shots he faced.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
