Another start, another ugly line for Texas Rangers starter Matt Moore against the offensively-challenged Detroit Tigers. Moore surrendered five earned runs over 5 2/3 innings, giving up nine hits, two walks and striking out five in the process. Nothing about the 28-year-old's season line looks good right now, as the outing brings his ERA to 7.71, while he's struck out just 5.91 hitters per nine innings. Moore is just bad at this point, and nothing in the advanced statistics suggest that a turnaround is coming. His FIP is slightly better at 5.25, but he is giving up the most hard contact and contact overall in his career. Hitters are keying in on him, and nothing in his arsenal seems capable of forcing consistent whiffs, a big part of his game. If you haven't moved on from Moore by now, there's no better time than the present. The Texas Rangers likely aren't far behind you.--Sean Scampton
