7 years agoBaltimore Orioles designated hitter Mark Trumbo (quadriceps) will make his way back onto the field on Wednesday. Manager Buck Showalter said Trumbo would likely assume the DH duties again that day. In the interim, several players, including Austin Hays and Pedro Alvarez, have filled that role. Even if he's healthy, there's no guarantee that Trumbo will be a great pick at DH. He's in possible decline and his size might contribute to more injuries.
