Luke McCaffrey 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Is There Any Hope for McCaffrey in 2025?
Luke McCaffrey's rookie season. He only caught 18 receptions for 168 receiving yards and only had two games where he played more than 61% of offensive snaps. McCaffrey's playing time dwindled throughout the year and into the postseason as it became clear he needed to further hone his craft. He'll look to carve out a more meaningful role in Washington's offense as a sophomore in 2025. However, the team acquired Deebo Samuel Sr. this offseason and still has veteran tight end Zach Ertz and 2024 second-round pick Ben Sinnott in the mix for targets. Unless injuries strike the depth chart or McCaffrey takes a huge second-year leap, it's hard to see him having a meaningful role in this offense. McCaffrey can be left undrafted in all leagues but could be a name to watch from afar during the season.
