Luis Robert Jr. Diagnosed With Grade 2 Hip Flexor Strain
8 months agoChicago White Sox center fielder Luis Robert Jr. (hip) was diagnosed with a Grade 2 hip flexor strain on Saturday. Robert sustained the injury in the ninth inning of Friday's game against the Kansas City Royals. According to White Sox manager Pedro Grifol, Robert has no current timetable for return, and he expects his absence to be "longer than ten days." Without a clear picture of the White Sox slugger's return, fantasy managers will need to pivot. Dominic Fletcher will start in center field on Saturday night, while Kevin Pillar will start in right field. Pillar is the leading candidate to receive more consistent playing time in Robert's absence, with Fletcher sliding over from right field to center field.
