Lonnie Chisenhall Remains At Home
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Lonnie Chisenhall (calf) remains at home in North Carolina and is not able to exercise. Chisenhall hasn't played all year and obviously isn't making much progress as we near the halfway point of the 2019 season. The 30-year-old also dealt with calf issues in Cleveland in 2018 and played in just 29 games, hitting .321 with a homer and nine RBI. Chisenhall hasn't played in over 82 games in a season since 2016 and probably wouldn't be seeing much playing time in Pittsburgh even if he was active, given the team's strong depth in the outfield.
