Logan Thomas Not On Track To Return This Week
3 years agoWashington Football Team tight end Logan Thomas (hamstring) didn't get back on the practice field on Thursday and appears unlikely to come off Injured Reserve and play against the Carolina Panthers this Sunday. The 30-year-old tight end has been on IR since Oct. 6 and must get in a full week of practice before the team is comfortable throwing him back into a game after such a long layoff. Those stashing him shouldn't expect him to return until at least Week 12. Ricky Seals-Jones (hip), who has served as the team's top pass-catching tight end in Thomas' absence, has missed two practices this week and appears headed toward missing this Sunday's game. That would leave rookie John Bates and Sammis Reyes as the two options at tight end against Carolina.
