Leg Injury Could Keep Julio Jones From Playing In Week 4
3 years agoUpdating a previous report, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones (leg) is getting treatment for a leg injury, and his status for Week 4 against the New York Jets is currently up in the air, according to sources. A.J. Brown (hamstring) is also week-to-week, so if both Jones and Brown are inactive this Sunday, the Titans could be looking at a starting receiver group of Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Chester Rogers and Cameron Batson. Jones played only six snaps in the second half of the Week 3 win over the Indianapolis Colts, catching just three passes for 47 yards in all. The 32-year-old should be considered very questionable to play this weekend, but if he does suit up and Brown is out, Jones should be quarterback Ryan Tannehill's top target in a great matchup with the winless Jets.
