Left Tackle Alaric Jackson Out For Rams On Sunday
12 months agoLos Angeles Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson (thigh) will be inactive in Week 17 against the New York Giants due to what the team is calling a personal reason. Jackson was added to the injury report on Friday as questionable with a thigh issue, but at that time they expected that he would play on Sunday. Meanwhile, Joe Noteboom (foot) is active despite coming into this contest with a questionable tag, and he will likely start at left tackle on quarterback Matthew Stafford's blind side with Jackson being out. The 28-year-old Noteboom has started seven of the 13 games he's played in for the Rams in his sixth year with the team. Jackson's absence on the left side of LA's offensive line will be something to watch on Sunday.
