The New York Jets re-signed veteran safety Lamarcus Joyner to an undisclosed one-year deal on Thursday, according to his agent. Joyner suffered a season-ending triceps injury in Week 1 of last year. The 31-year-old entered the season as the starting safety opposite Marcus Maye. With Maye likely to leave in free agency, the Jets decided to give Joyner another chance in their secondary. Joyner had 66 tackles (53 solo), six tackles for loss and five passes defensed in 14 games (six starts) for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020 before he joined the Jets. He was originally a second-round pick in the 2014 draft by the St. Louis Rams out of Florida State.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
