Former Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray announced on Thursday that he plans to attend the NFL scouting combine on Feb. 26. He was also the ninth overall pick by the Oakland Athletics last year and is already their No. 4 prospect, per MLB Pipeline. The combine starts roughly 10 days after he would need to report to Arizona for spring training. Murray's participation at the combine would violate the guarantee language in his MLB contract and "would require reconfiguring his contract." Murray is projected to be a first-round pick if he chooses football, and he'd need to repay the $4.66 million signing bonus he received from the A's last year. He has yet to choose which sport he'll play, but it's looking increasingly likely that he'll choose the NFL.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
