Kyle Wright To Miss A Few Starts
2 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Kyle Wright (shoulder) will make a start against minor-leaguers and another for Triple-A Gwinnett before he makes his season debut during the team's first homestand. It means that Wright will officially start the 2023 campaign on the injured list, but he's only slated to miss one or two starts to open the year. Wright was held back early in spring training due to shoulder soreness, but he made his Grapefruit League debut this past Monday and should be ready to go soon in Atlanta's rotation. The 27-year-old right-hander will be pretty risky in DFS early on as he builds up his pitch count, but in season-long leagues, he needs to be rostered everywhere. With Wright a little behind, it will allow both Jared Shuster and Dylan Dodd to open the year in the rotation.
