New England Patriots veteran free-agent linebacker Kyle Van Noy is meeting with the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, according to a source. If all goes well with the visit, there's a good chance he'll sign with the Bolts, and he could be a potential important addition to head coach Brandon Staley's defense. The 31-year-old was released by the Patriots in March. In 16 games (eight starts) for New England last year, he recorded 66 tackles (42 solo), five tackles for loss, seven QB hits, five sacks, one interception for a touchdown, 10 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. If Van Noy signs in Los Angeles, he'd likely be a starter for an improving defensive unit.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
