Kyle Teel Doubles in Three-Hit Game on Wednesday
Kyle Teel went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI, and a run scored on Wednesday for Triple-A Charlotte. The performance lifted his season-long slash line to .295/.394/.492 to go along with eight home runs, 30 RBI, 34 runs scored, and seven steals. Not to be forgotten in all of the offense, the 23-year-old backstop also threw out a runner, namely Justin Crawford, who has the third-most steals (22) in the International League. The former first-rounder continues to build his resume for a promotion to the majors, and getting practice reps at first base recently only makes his case more formidable. Look for Chicago's second-ranked prospect to be in the majors by midseason, and with the prospect of first base eligibility down the line, his fantasy appeal keeps growing.
