Kyle Schwarber Keeps Raking
Kyle Schwarber went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in his team's 5-4 win over the Atlanta Braves. The Phillies and their rivals split the doubleheader on Thursday, with the Braves taking the latter half of the twin-billing 9-3. Schwarber was held hitless through his first three at-bats of the first outing, but continued his sensational season with long ball No. 19 off Atlanta reliever Aaron Bummer in the bottom of the seventh. The former first-round pick golfed a hanging curveball 438 feet into the upper deck in right field to give Philadelphia a 4-2 lead. He's been excellent in 2025 -- tied for second in the league with his home run total, and slashing a robust .252/.394/.569.
