Kyle Harrison Optioned to Triple-A Worcester
Kyle Harrison to Triple-A Worcester. Boston stunned the baseball world over the weekend when it flipped Rafael Devers for a package of players. Harrison was initially scheduled to toe the rubber on Sunday for San Francisco in their series finale with the Los Angeles Dodgers. However, he'll now presumably work out of Worcester's rotation. The 23-year-old operated from the bullpen and as a starter this season for the Giants, compiling a 1-1 record with a 4.56 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and 25:9 K:BB ratio in eight appearances (four starts, 23 2/3 innings). He will likely get a chance to stick with the big-league squad at some point this season, though when that is remains unclear.
