According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, the 49ers re-signed defensive end Kerry Hyder Jr. on Friday. The 31-year-old appeared in 16 games for San Francisco during the 2022-23 campaign, totaling 19 tackles and one sack. He's not expected to be an every-down defensive option this season, so his IDP upside remains severely restricted.
