Kenta Maeda Dominates Marlins Thursday

Los Angeles Dodgers starter Kenta Maeda credits a mechanical adjustment for his complete dominance of the Miami Marlins on Thursday. By slowing down his delivery, Maeda produced his strongest start of the season, allowing just two hits in eight innings with eight strikeouts and no walks. His slider was definitely working and only Derek Dietrich's double went for extra bases all day. This was only the third time this season that a Dodgers starter went for eight innings, and it was nice to see Maeda bounce back after getting tagged for five runs by Cincinnati in just 4 2/3 innings last week. He'll next face the Rockies at home on Tuesday.
