Kenny Golladay In Line For Massive Extension?
5 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay, a late addition to last week's Pro Bowl as an alternate, could be in line for a big contract extension after leading the league with 11 touchdowns and topping 1,000 yards receiving for the second straight season. "They better hurry up and pay Kenny," NFL Network analyst James Jones said Thursday at Super Bowl 54. "Very, very fast because the longer you wait to pay Kenny, the higher the price goes." Golladay's 2019 season was even more impressive when you consider that quarterback Matthew Stafford played in only eight games due to a back injury. He played last season for $676,000, slightly over the league minimum, but he would stand to make $15 million or more with a new contract. Golladay is heading into the final year of his rookie deal and has emerged as a true WR1 in fantasy.
