6 months agoToronto Blue Jays closer Ken Giles (arm) threw on the field on Monday. His session went "well," but he isn't available on Monday night and will need to throw off a mound before he returns to game action. The hard-throwing closer has nerve irritation in his arm from a massage and could be out another day or two. He's not out of the woods yet, though, and Daniel Hudson already has a save in Giles' absence, so he should be added in the short term by those that are in needs of saves in fantasy leagues. Giles is also a trade candidate at the deadline, so Hudson could have another avenue to saves in the second half.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
