Julio Teheran Owns 0.70 ERA Over Past Seven Starts
6 years agoAtlanta Braves starter Julio Teheran allowed two hits across six scoreless innings during a 1-0 win over the Miami Marlins on Saturday. Teheran struck out five batters while walking one. The 28-year-old has been arguably the best pitcher in baseball since the start of May, allowing just three earned runs in 38 2/3 innings over that stretch. His control is always a cause for concern, but there are not many pitchers hotter than Teheran right now. He'll look to keep it rolling in his next projected start against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
