Julio Jones Remains Out Thursday
4 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones (hamstring) missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Jones received a platelet-rich plasma injection and wants to play again in 2020, but there's no guarantee that happens. Unless he can get in a limited practice on Friday, the All-Pro receiver is likely to miss the Week 16 game against the Chiefs. If that's the case, Calvin Ridley should once again be a strong WR1, while Russell Gage will have some WR3/flex appeal. Jones is currently 229 yards short of his seventh straight 1,000-yard season, but we'd be surprised if he gets there. Even if Jones is active, he'd be a risky fantasy proposition at less than 100 percent while going up against a Kansas City defense that has been the second-toughest unit against receivers this year.
