Julio Jones Expected To Be Game-Time Decision In Week 3
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said that wide receiver Julio Jones (knee) will probably be a game-time decision in Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers. Jones didn't play in the Week 2 win over the division-rival New Orleans Saints and could be out for a second straight game. With the Bucs playing on the later slate on Sunday, it will make things even more difficult for fantasy managers as well. Mike Evans is suspended this weekend and Chris Godwin (hamstring) could also miss his second straight game, leaving Tampa's receiving corps extremely thin. If both Jones and Godwin are inactive, quarterback Tom Brady will be working with starters Russell Gage, Breshad Perriman and Scotty Miller. The good news for Jones is that he returned to practice Friday after missing the previous two days.
