Juan Soto Injures Hamstring On A Swing

Washington Nationals outfielder Juan Soto (hamstring) injured his left hamstring after swinging at a pitch on Wednesday and was removed from the game in the ninth inning against the Tampa Bay Rays. Before leaving the game late, Soto had three singles in six plate appearances, driving in two, scoring three runs, stealing two bases and walking once to raise his season line to .280/.400/.441. This could definitely be an injury that sends the star 22-year-old back to the injured list, but stay tuned for more details later in the day. Soto is in the midst of a five-game hitting streak and has been much better than he was in May. Losing him for any stretch would be a big blow to the Nats and fantasy managers.
