Josh Norman Will Be Active On Sunday
2 years agoCarolina Panthers interim head coach Steve Wilks said that cornerback Josh Norman will be elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for the Week 17 tilt against the division-rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 35-year-old veteran just was signed to Carolina's practice squad on Monday and will make his 2022 season debut in a big-time divisional clash against Tom Brady and Company. Norman played the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Panthers after being a fifth-round pick in 2012. Carolina will be hoping the veteran can pick up slack in the team's secondary after corner Jaycee Horn (wrist) underwent season-ending wrist surgery. The Panthers will certainly be tested against a pass-happy Bucs offense.
