Josh Allen's Rushing Production May Be Dwindling
3 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is coming off the board at the start of the fourth round in single-quarterback leagues, but is he worth that cost as the second signal-caller behind Patrick Mahomes? Allen made major improvements as a passer in 2020 that helped elevate him to the elite QB1 level, but as he's progressed as a passer, his rushing production has dwindled. He has only rushed for fewer than 20 yards 13 times in the regular season in his career, and seven of those occurred last year. The 25-year-old is definitely a high-end QB1 after what he did in 2020, but some fantasy managers may prefer to take someone like Kyler Murray or Lamar Jackson about a round later and still be guaranteed that rushing production.
