6 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve has only three hits over his last 24 at-bats (.125) as the team begins a series with the Twins Monday night. In fact, ever since Altuve homered in five straight games in early April, he is only 7-for-45 (.155) with only two home runs. Altuve is far too talented to continue to slump like this but his season has been extremely up and down thus far. One stat that surely should change moving forward is the fact that the former MVP has only two doubles through his first 105 at-bats.
