Jorge Soler Sets Career High In HRs
6 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Jorge Soler admired a shot to left that just barely got out on Wednesday to give him 13 home runs on the season. The two-run shot broke Soler's previous season-high of 12 homers set back in 2016 with the Cubs, and he should easily blow that previous season high out of the water when this year is finished. Soler's fully invested in swinging for the fences on every at-bat, but he's also knocking 23% of his fly balls out of the park, so it's working in that respect. He's well on his way to a 30-homer campaign, even if he hits below .250 for the vast majority of the trip.
